They are hard at work tilling unimproved areas and returning green vegetation to the soil. Their sweet, juicy and lean meat comes from their gourmet diet which consists of local brewery grains from the Horsefly Brewery in Montrose, cracked corn, and raw milk from the grass-fed cows at Kinikin Corner Dairy. The resulting mash has a sweet peanut butter and jelly smell. It not only tastes great, but the process of soaking the grains neutralizes phytic acid–naturally found in whole grains–making the feed and its mineral content more easily digested and assimilated. This not only makes delicious pork, but healthier pigs eating nutritious food.
