Directions

You can Mapquest us but, in our experience, most people end up getting lost! So here are some more precise directions to get to our place.

Directions from Montrose (coming from Hwy 550/Townsend, heading SOUTH)

From Townsend (Hwy 550) turn L. at the City Market South and make a R. at the first street, Woodgate Rd.  Follow Woodgate through the roundabout, heading south. It will eventually turn into Kinikin Rd. Follow Kinikin Rd until the road turns to dirt (you will pass over South Canal). Pass the “Downs Ranch” headgate. Go about one more mile and you’ll see R71 Rd on the right-hand side with our sign at the bottom of the hill.  Turn R. at R71 Rd. At the top of the hill turn L. and park on the left side of the yellow barn.

Directions from Ridgway (coming from Hwy 550, heading NORTH)

Turn R. on Trout Rd. (1st road on right after Rays Jerky )
Trout will make a 90 degree turn to the left and turn into Pahgre. (DO NOT take a right onto Pahgre…the two parts of Pahgre are not connected)
Pahgre will “T” into Kinikin Road. Turn R.  onto Kinikin Rd.  Follow Kinikin Rd until the road turns to dirt (you will pass over South Canal). Pass the “Downs Ranch” headgate. Go about one more mile and you’ll see R71 Rd on the right-hand side with our sign at the bottom of the hill.  Turn R. at R71 Rd. At the top of the hill turn L. and park on the left side of the yellow barn.
